Directions:  From girne go Won Girne-Guzelyurt road. About 2jms after Camlıbel you pass a petrol station on your R. 4kms after this drive slowly through a number of sharp bends. At one of these bending, L you see and Alo 177 sign on the R. Pass this and turn off L just the road bends R again.

The Walk

From the parking are walk up the shallow valley. During Jan/ Feb this area is carpeted with anemones. The trail follows the riverbed that gently rises with pine forest on either side. After approximately. 25 minutes you will pass an area an area of

the trees until you come to a track across your path(2). To your r you will see and old ruin (3). Cross the L hand side of the valley and continue through groves of pistachio, fig and mulberry trees(4)  passing a ruined summer house (5) .Straight ahead you will come to head of the valley with several old ruins (6) ( Ayios Yeoyios) among olive trees that are hundreds of years old. To the L of the ruins you will notice and old stone water tank(7) and behind this you may hear water from the spring coming from one for the 4 concrete manhole covers (a,b,c,d). From there look back down the valley towards Guzelyurt bay and the Trodos mountains. We start the return walks from This point.

Take the small track to the R of the 4 large pine trees(8) and scrabble up to the plateau with pine on the skyline. Follow the cliff edge overlooking the valley to your L) that you have just walked up. You will pass 3 concrete pillars (trig. points), the third has 35 on it. From here bear R across the scrub ( no discernible path), and you will notice goat/sheep pens on your L. Keep going until you reach the edge of the next valley, bear R along the tracks to the head pf valley(9) marked by another concrete post. Turn L to follow this Valley down the other side. On reaching an obvious dirt road continue downwards taking the L fork(10). The track becomes a bit scrubby but still descramble. A track will come in from he right(11) on the flatter section and, a bit further down, the track from the goat/sheep pens will join(12) Carry straight on back to the parking area.
