
The unspoiled dive sites of North Cyprus make this beautiful Mediterranean Island a serious competitor as a dive destination to visit. The crystal clear water of up to 30m visibility and the abundance of varied marine life make the diving most interesting.
1. Aprodite Bay Based at the Hotel Sempati in Lapta 10 miles west of the tourist destination of Kyrenia. The Hotel Sempati, a Cypriot family run hotel offers accommodation and meals including light snacks and drinks which can be ordered after a dive.
Turtle Bay Dive Centre is open all year round offering both shore and boat diving around the North of the Island. We also arrange regular excursions to dive the world famous Zenobia wreck situated off Larnaca bay in the south.
All the reefs in North Cyprus are easily accessible by boat and are a short ride away from Turtle Bay Dive Centre.
2. Zephyros:
20m to 32m.Suitable for newly qualified and experienced. A short boat ride from Turtle Bay Dive Centre. This is one of our most popular reefs which are at the site of another two namely the Wall and Paradise. This is a large reef system with various levels. The dive site provides an excellent photo shoot opportunity.
3. Wall:
25m to 32m.Suitable for experienced divers. The top of the wall begins at 25 metres dropping to a sandy bottom at 32m. The wall is covered with hundreds of anemones and as usual there is excellent visibility and an abundance of fish life.
4. Paradise:
24m to 43m.Recommended for experienced divers. The reef is located at the outer section of the formation of three and is deeper than the other two. Contains many colourful crevasses and caves.
5. Pinocchio:
20metres.Suitable for training The underwater terrain at this site consists of rocks and boulders allowing perfect cover for the marine life.
6. Lost:
18m. all levels This site consists of Neptune grass on the north end and boulders on the south. It is a must to examine the Neptune grass as it is home to the smaller marine species.
7. Bambi:
14 meters. An excellent beginner’s site again with an abundance of the smaller fish.
