Although
Northern Cyprus is
certainly not a shopping Mecca there are certainly items may
be tempted by. Girne - Kyrenia
and Lefkosa - Nicosia
have the best selection of shops. Negotiating or haggling'
is not something that most shopkeepers get involved with. If
you have sterling cash with you, then try your luck but if your
offer is refused that is the final word. The owner will not
come and running after you like in Turkey!
Most visitors to
Cyprus look forward to purchasing a
bottle or two of their favourite liquor. Popular brand
cigarette can also duty free shops at Ercan Airport .

every Village there is one Pharmacy, after office hours there
is few pharmacy available in every village and Town.

credit cards and Gbp, USD, Euro, however its bets to exchange
to Turkish lira at Hotel, or Bank and than go for shopping,
