Diving North Cyprus
Crystal clear water at this far end of the Mediterranean means
great visibility to as much as 30 meters.
The coast of North Cyprus is home to a wealth of interesting fish
such as Stingrays, grouper, Scorpion, Amberjacks and Wrasse.
Coral and sponges grow in abundance and amongst the rocks lurk eel
and octopus. |
|
|
The highlight of the dive would be the sight of a turtle and as
Northern Cyprus is a major breeding ground of the Green and
Loggerhead Turtle the chances of seeing one is a strong
possibility.
This is one of the few places where divers can swim with the
turtles.
The unspoiled, unpolluted water of the North Cyprus coast is an
ideal introduction in your progression through the world of
diving.
|
Diving in North Cyprus is possible all year round and we at
Turtle Bay Dive Centre have a supply of dry suits that ensures
the dive wont be spoiled if the water temperature falls below
A comfortable level.
The warm water around North Cyprus attracts an array of marine
life, via the Suez canal, from the Red Sea washed in by the gentle
currents. |

Turtle Bay Dive Centre
offers the full range of PADI courses from
Try dives to Dive master.
PADI – the Professional Association of Diving Instructors ensures
that we offer the high standards for dive training, safety and
customer service which you would expect from any professional
organisation.
PADI certification is accepted at more dive locations worldwide
than any other. |
Turtle Bay Dive Centre we have state-of-the-art educational
materials and equipment to ensure you have an enjoyable underwater
adventure.
Diving is fun whatever your age.
Diving allows you to explore 70% of the earth!
The courses we have on offer at Turtle Bay Dive Centre begin with
Supplied Air Snorkelling (SAS) – instead of snorkels, children
from the age of 5 years old get to scuba the SAS way. The unit
consists of a personal flotation device with a scuba tank and
regulator attached. This way the children float on the surface but
are free to keep their heads underwater so they don’t miss
anything under the water. It’s fun and easy.
Bubble maker:
as the name suggests, it’s all about blowing bubbles
but under the water!
Seal Team:
Young divers can begin their underwater experience with
smaller scale equipment and learn the basic skills of diving
before moving onto various speciality dives eg. you will dive with
torch light as a Night Specialist, navigate, simulate wreck diving
and much more all in the controlled safe environment of the diving
pool.
|
|
Discover scuba diving:
Experience the adventure in ideal
conditions ensuring your comfort.
You will master basic concepts and scuba skills in the pool and
then you begin your journey into open water up to a depth of 12
metres.
This part of the PADI programme counts towards your Open Water
Diver certification.
Open Water Diver: This course entitles you to dive with a
buddy independently of a professional.
